Category 6 UTP patch cable, 100 ft green, 550 MHz bandwidth, 24 AWG, supports 10/100/1000 Mbps
This 100-foot Category 6 cable delivers enhanced 550 MHz bandwidth and meets TIA/EIA 568B.2 standards. The unshielded twisted-pair construction uses 24 AWG conductors across four pairs inside a green PVC jacket. It supports 10/100/1000 Gigabit speeds for reliable wired networking.
The 100-foot length suits installers wiring between rooms or across offices where shorter patch cords cannot reach. Builders who require shielded cable for high-interference environments or plenum-rated jacket for air-handling spaces should look at other products.
The 550 MHz enhanced rating is the specification that determines whether this cable meets the bandwidth headroom required for a given Gigabit installation. If the project demands higher frequencies or shielded construction, a different cable class will be necessary.

Untwist each pair no more than necessary, seat the wires fully in the 568B colour sequence, and use a punch-down tool rated for 24 AWG solid copper.
The PVC jacket may stiffen and the 550 MHz margin can shrink; re-test with a Cat 6 qualifier if 1000 Mbps errors appear.
The 550 MHz rating exceeds the 1000BASE-T requirement, so the first limit under sustained use is usually connector quality or bend-radius damage, not the cable itself.
