sakose C6EB-15R 15 ft Cat 6 Red Enhanced 550 MHz network ethernet cable

15 ft Cat 6 Enhanced cable

This 15 ft Cat 6 enhanced patch cable supports Gigabit Ethernet at 10, 100 and 1000 Mbps. It is built with 24 AWG unshielded twisted pairs and a PVC jacket. The red colour helps identify the link in a busy rack or desk setup. It suits home offices, small-business networks and anyone adding a single wired connection.

550 MHz bandwidth limit

The cable is rated to 550 MHz under the TIA/EIA 568B.2 Category 6 enhanced specification. That bandwidth ceiling determines the maximum frequency the link can carry without excessive crosstalk. Runs longer than 15 ft or installations near strong EMI sources may not achieve the full rated throughput. The unshielded construction offers no protection against external interference.

UTP construction constraint

The unshielded twisted-pair design keeps the cable flexible and easy to route, but it cannot reject noise the way shielded or foil-screened cables do. Installers who need immunity from motors, fluorescent ballasts or dense cable bundles should choose a shielded alternative. This cable meets the stated Category 6 enhanced performance only in benign electromagnetic environments.
