2.4GHz 300Mbps Range Extender

The sakose wireless range extender operates on the 2.4GHz band with a maximum signal rate of 300Mbps. It uses the QCA9533 controller and 8M flash memory to extend existing Wi-Fi coverage. The unit plugs directly into a wall socket and supports IEEE802.11b/g/n standards.

Suits homes needing simple 2.4GHz extension

This extender suits users who want to expand a 2.4GHz network for web browsing, email or smart-home devices. It is not for buyers who need dual-band or 5GHz operation. It is not for environments that require throughput above 300Mbps or gigabit wired ports.

Check router band and port speed

Verify that your router broadcasts a 2.4GHz network compatible with 802.11b/g/n. The extender provides one WAN and one LAN port at 10/100Mbps, so wired devices will be limited to that speed. Ensure a free mains socket is available for the UK, US or EU plug variant.

Questions about this item

What existing Wi-Fi network standard does this extender need to connect to?

It works with any 2.4 GHz network using IEEE 802.11b, g or n.

Will the 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port slow down my wired devices compared to a gigabit switch?

The port caps wired traffic at 100 Mbps, so gigabit devices will run at that lower speed.

How can I confirm the extender is repeating the signal at the full 300 Mbps rate?

Check the link speed shown in your device’s Wi-Fi status; it will display up to 300 Mbps when conditions allow.
