4" Angle-D Ring View Binder

The Samsill 16997 is a 4-inch capacity binder designed for organising large volumes of letter-size documents. It suits offices, schools and home users who need a durable filing solution with a professional appearance. The white cover features clear overlays on the front, back and spine for custom inserts.

Removable rings and biodegradable materials

The binder uses removable Angle-D rings that make the unit 100 percent recyclable at end of life. Chipboard contains recycled content while the acid-free, PVC-free polypropylene cover is environmentally safe. A portion of proceeds supports American Forests with a goal of planting 7,500 trees annually.

Angle-D ring capacity and mechanism

Locking D-rings hold approximately 800 sheets, which is 25 percent more than standard round rings. Rings mount on the back cover so pages lie flat and wear is reduced. Rust-resistant metal rings include double boosters for smooth, even opening and closing action.

Questions about this item

Will the removable D-rings need to be replaced if they loosen over time?

The rings are mounted on the back cover with exposed rivets and rust-resistant metal, and they are removable so they can be replaced if necessary.

At what sheet count do the 4" locking D-rings reach their limit?

The 4" capacity holds approximately 800 letter-size sheets, which is the maximum before the rings cannot close tightly.

Does the biodegradable polypropylene break down or get sticky during daily office use?

The material will not start to biodegrade until disposed of in a landfill, so it remains stable and non-sticky with unlimited shelf life during normal use.
