Wooden Alarm Clock for Home and Travel

The Samsung LK-AC10Black_Blue is a 2.4 inch wooden cube clock that shows time, date and temperature. It suits anyone who wants a compact desk or bedside device with a natural finish. The unit runs from the included USB cable or three AAA batteries. Voice control activates the display when sound exceeds 60 db.

Sustained Operation and Power Saving

In power saving mode the LED stays off until voice, a pat or a knock wakes it for 15 seconds. Without that mode the screen remains on continuously. The supplier notes that battery life is short, so USB power is recommended for daily use. Three brightness levels let you match ambient light.

Thermals, Noise and Power Draw

The clock draws minimal power over USB and produces no audible fan noise. Battery backup adds roughly 150 g of weight. No heat or acoustic issues arise in normal indoor environments. The small footprint keeps it unobtrusive on any surface.

Questions about this item

How much power does the clock draw when it runs all day plugged into USB?

The unit ships with a USB cable for continuous power; the supplier notes that batteries drain very fast, so USB is the intended all-day source.

What must I already have to power it by USB?

Any standard USB-A port or 5 V USB charger — the included cable plugs directly into it.

Will the voice-activation feature still work if I keep my older analog alarm on the same nightstand?

Yes — the clock only listens for sounds above 60 dB (clap, knock or loud alarm) to light its display for 15 seconds.
