Graphite Black 83-inch OLED smart TV

The Samsung QN83S85HAEXZA is an 83-inch 4K OLED television released in 2026. Self-illuminating pixels driven by the NQ4 AI Gen2 Processor produce deep blacks, bright highlights and AI-enhanced upscaling for both legacy and native 4K sources. Tizen OS supplies streaming apps, voice assistants and a gaming hub with FreeSync Premium support. Four HDMI inputs, eARC, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth handle external devices and audio systems.

Living-room viewers wanting large-screen cinematic

Buyers who prioritise inky blacks, wide viewing angles and 120 Hz motion for films, sports and console gaming will benefit from the OLED panel and AI picture processing. The set includes a screen cleaner and a two-year protection plan for residential use. Shoppers needing higher peak brightness for sunlit rooms or smaller screen sizes for confined spaces should consider other options.

120 Hz refresh rate with four HDMI ports

The panel refreshes at 120 Hz and offers four HDMI inputs, enabling 4K 120 Hz signals from multiple consoles or a PC without switching cables. This combination determines whether the TV can serve as a high-motion gaming display and a multi-source home-theatre centre simultaneously.

Questions about this item

Will the 120 Hz panel and four HDMI inputs work with my older 60 Hz AV receiver without handshake issues?

The TV accepts 120 Hz signals on its four HDMI ports and will down-convert to 60 Hz for legacy equipment, so your existing receiver can pass video through without handshake problems.

How can I verify the NQ4 AI Gen2 processor is upscaling 1080p sources to 4K after I finish the initial setup?

Open the on-screen Picture menu, select Expert Settings, and enable the 4K AI Upscaling indicator; a small badge appears in the corner whenever the processor is actively upconverting lower-resolution content.

Does the box include a wall-mount bracket, or do I need to buy a VESA 400 x 300 mount separately?

The package contains the TV, remote control, power cable, user manual and a screen-cleaning kit; a VESA 400 x 300 wall-mount bracket is not included and must be purchased separately.
