SAMSUNG Wisenet ANE-L7012R 4MP Network Camera

The SAMSUNG Wisenet ANE-L7012R is a 4 megapixel network camera designed for surveillance systems needing a Flateye form factor in white. It captures colour footage at 2560 x 1440 resolution with a 3 mm fixed lens running at 30 fps. Infrared illumination reaches 65.62 ft for low-light monitoring. Multiple codec options include H.264, H.265 and MJPEG variants. IK10 and IP67 ratings suit exposed installations.

Sustained compression and environmental resilience

Continuous recording relies on H.264 and H.265 compression families to manage bandwidth and storage over long periods. The fixed 3 mm lens maintains a constant field of view without moving parts that could wear. IK10 impact resistance and IP67 ingress protection keep the camera operating through vibration, dust and water exposure. The Flateye housing reduces protrusion, limiting tampering and snow buildup on the lens surface.

Mounting and infrastructure checklist

Verify that the chosen location supports one of the listed mounting methods: Conduit Mount, Gang Box Mount, Hanging Mount, Backbox Mount, Wall Mount, In-ceiling or Flush Mount. Confirm network infrastructure handles the selected codec stream at 2560 x 1440 resolution and 30 fps. Ensure power delivery matches the camera’s requirements. Buyers needing motorised zoom, varifocal adjustment or a different lens focal length should consider other models.

Questions about this item

How much power does the ANE-L7012R draw when recording continuously?

The camera supports PoE so it receives power and data over a single Ethernet cable; the built-in IR LEDs activate only in low light, keeping average consumption low during day operation.

Which recorder or software is required to store footage from this 2560 x 1440 camera?

Any NVR or VMS that accepts ONVIF Profile S and can decode H.264, H.265 or MJPEG streams at 30 fps will work with the ANE-L7012R.

Can the 3 mm fixed lens on this Flateye replace the wider view of my older box camera?

The 3 mm lens gives a wide horizontal field of view suitable for corridors or entrance lobbies, while the IK10 and IP67 housing matches the rugged mounting of traditional box cameras.
