Outdoor 4 MP bullet camera

The Samsung Wisenet QNO-7012R is a 4 megapixel network camera built for outdoor surveillance. It captures colour video at 2560 x 1440 resolution and 30 fps through a fixed 2.80 mm lens. The dark gray bullet housing carries IP66 weather protection and IK10 impact resistance for exposed mounting.

Compression options and night range

On-board encoding supports H.265, H.264, H.265M, H.264M, H.265H, H.264H and MJPEG, letting you match bandwidth and storage to the recorder. Infrared illumination reaches 65.62 ft in darkness, while the CMOS sensor maintains colour detail in low light before switching to monochrome.

Mounting and recorder compatibility

The camera includes conduit and gang box mounts for surface or junction-box installation. Verify that your NVR or VMS accepts the listed codec profiles and 4 MP streams before ordering. Buyers needing varifocal zoom, audio inputs or wider temperature specs should consider other models.

Questions about this item

Will the fixed 2.80 mm lens need replacement if the viewing angle must change?

The lens is fixed at 2.80 mm, so altering the field of view requires swapping the entire camera rather than just the lens.

What resolution ceiling appears first when recording continuously at 30 fps?

The sensor caps at 2560 x 1440, so that 4 MP ceiling is the first limit reached during sustained 30 fps capture.

How much heat or fan noise should be expected when the IR runs all night?

The bullet housing is passively cooled with an IP66 rating and no fan, so it runs silently while the IR illuminators cover 65.62 ft.
