Wire and cable identification

The Sanford 18053 cassette prints directly onto white polyolefin heat-shrink tubing for permanent wire and cable marking. Industrial-grade adhesive and a 3:1 shrink ratio create labels that resist chemicals, solvents, grease, heat and moisture. Technicians and installers use it when tags must stay legible in harsh environments.

Printer compatibility and workflow

The cassette fits Dymo Rhino printers 1000, 3000, 5000, 5200, 6000 and 6500 without adapters. Printing on the tubing itself removes the separate step of applying a label after shrinking. Users simply print, slide the tube onto the conductor and apply heat for a finished marker.

Durability in normal use

The polyolefin material withstands exposure to solvents, grease and elevated temperatures without smearing or detaching. Once shrunk, the marker grips the cable tightly and remains readable through vibration and thermal cycling. No additional power or consumables are required beyond the printer and a heat gun.
