Portable 3LCD projector for mobile presentations

The Sanyo PLC-XW55 is a compact business projector weighing 6.4 lbs, designed for professionals who need a bright display on the move. Its 3LCD engine produces 2000 lumens, making it suitable for meeting rooms with ambient light. Native XGA resolution of 1024 x 768 handles standard office documents and spreadsheets clearly. It is not for buyers who need widescreen native resolution or higher contrast for dark-room media.

Included power cable and IR remote enable

The box provides a mains power cable so the unit can be plugged in straight away without sourcing a lead. An IR remote control and USB infrared receiver let the presenter advance slides from anywhere in the room. No video cables or carry case are mentioned in the supplied data. It is not for users who expect HDMI or VGA leads bundled in the package.

Lightweight chassis suits desk or ceiling mounting

At 6.4 lbs the projector is light enough for temporary placement on a tabletop or permanent ceiling installation with a compatible bracket. The 3LCD optical system avoids rainbow artefacts during video playback. Contrast is rated at 400:1, rising to 600:1 in high-definition video mode. It is not for installers who require lens shift or motorised zoom for flexible positioning.
