Power Extension Cord for North American Outlets

This 15 ft black power extension cord connects a standard 2-prong plug to a square-round female connector. It uses an 18AWG oxygen-free copper core with PVC jacket and zinc-plated steel contacts. The cable is rated for 110V and 10A input, making it suitable for USA and Canada household sockets. ROHS compliance and shielding support safe, reliable power delivery.

Suits Devices with Square-Round Inlets

Ideal for replacing lost or damaged cords on desktop computers, laptop power bricks, monitors, printers, gaming consoles and office equipment that accept the square-round 8 connector. Buyers whose equipment requires a three-prong grounded inlet or a different connector shape should look at other cable types. The two-prong design fits non-grounded North American wall outlets only.

Connector Type Decides Compatibility

The single specification that determines fit is the 1 x Power Cord to 1 x Square Round 8 connector detail. Verify that your device inlet matches this square-round female profile before purchasing. Length, wire gauge and voltage rating are secondary once the connector geometry is confirmed.

Questions about this item

Will the 15 ft 18AWG cord reach a wall outlet behind my desk?

The cable is 15 ft long, giving ample reach from a floor or wall outlet to equipment on a desk or shelf.

How do I install the 2-prong male to square/round female cord without damaging the connector?

Align the keyed square corner with the device inlet notch; push straight in until the zinc-plated shell seats firmly — do not twist during insertion.

When should I replace this 110V 10A extension cord?

Replace it if the PVC jacket shows cracks, the copper conductors become exposed, or the connectors feel loose or overheat during use.
