Industrial warning light

The Schneider Electric XVBL4M8 is a yellow LED warning light designed for industrial and outdoor signalling. It operates across a wide 48 to 230V AC range, making it suitable for varied control-panel voltages. The unit is sold without a lamp, allowing integration into existing indicator assemblies. Buyers needing a self-contained beacon with an included light source should look elsewhere.

Voltage and environmental limits

The light functions from 48 up to 230V AC while drawing 0.13A AC. It flashes at a fixed rate of 60 flashes per minute with a 7W light output. The housing carries an IP65 rating and meets NEMA 1, 4X and 12 standards for dust and water ingress. Operating temperature spans -40 to 158 degrees F, so installations beyond that range are not supported.

Rugged housing and mounting

A glass-reinforced polyamide body and polycarbonate screw-on dome lens resist impact and corrosion in harsh settings. Direct or tube mounting options give flexibility for panel or conduit installation. The 50,000-hour LED life reduces maintenance cycles. The 3.200 width and 5 1/2 in height define the footprint, so spaces smaller than those dimensions will not accommodate the unit.
