Heavy Floor Stand Base for STR Support Rods

The Schoeps BF 250 Heavy Floor Stand Base is designed to securely hold an STR vertical support rod for microphones. Its weighted construction provides a stable foundation for studio or stage applications. The black textured finish offers durability while keeping visual focus on the performance. This base suits audio engineers and performers needing reliable microphone positioning.

SPV 12-3/8 Chuck Quick-Connect System

The special SPV 12-3/8 chuck creates a quick connect and disconnect system for the support rod. You can plug the rod into the chuck and tighten it by hand for a secure lock. This mechanism allows fast setup changes without tools while maintaining a stable hold. It is the single specification that determines compatibility with your existing STR hardware.

5.5 kg Weighted Stability for Microphone Support

The 5.5 kg heavy bottom base delivers firm placement for microphone setups during performances. It comfortably handles the weight and leverage of mounted microphones on STR support rods. The mass resists accidental knocks or vibration transfer in active environments. It runs out of headroom if you require a lighter base for frequent relocation or portable recording kits.
