Schoeps CMC6-U 12-48V Microphone Amplifier, Matte Gray

SKU CH-WYGF-AZJS0

Provides 12-48V phantom power for Colette modular capsules with flat frequency response and extremely low noise

  • Flat frequency response for accurate sound capture
  • Extremely low noise and distortion for clean recordings
  • Balanced, very low-impedance output for signal integrity
  • Works with very long cables without quality loss
  • Well-protected against RFI for reliable operation

Colette Modular System Amplifier

The Schoeps CMC6-U is a professional microphone amplifier built for the Colette modular capsule system. It delivers flat frequency response with extremely low noise and distortion for critical recording applications. Audio engineers and broadcast professionals use it where transparent sound capture is essential.

Phantom Power Flexibility

The unit operates on 12- or 48-Volt phantom power and automatically recognises the supply voltage to maintain consistent performance. Its balanced, very low-impedance output allows very long cable runs without signal degradation. Strong RFI protection ensures clean operation in electrically noisy environments.

Transformerless Class A Headroom

The direct-coupled Class A output stage provides minimal distortion and low impedance for pristine signal transmission. It comfortably handles demanding dynamic sources and quiet passages alike thanks to its low self-noise floor. The amplifier reaches its limits only when paired with capsules requiring higher voltage than the 12-48 Volt range supplies.
