Double-sided tape for gifting and crafts

This roll of Scotch 136 double-sided tape measures .5 inches wide by 250 inches long and comes with a dispenser. The permanent adhesive on both sides creates a secure bond for wrapping paper, gift bags and paper crafts. It is designed for clean, invisible results on school projects and office documents.

Permanent adhesive holds under regular handling

The tape uses a permanent adhesive coating on both faces rather than a removable liner. Once applied, it resists lifting during normal handling of wrapped gifts, scrapbook pages or mounted displays. The bond is intended for lasting hold rather than temporary positioning or repeated repositioning.

Transparent finish with no liner to remove

The clear tape remains unseen after application and leaves no visible residue on paper or card surfaces. An 8-inch protective wrap covers the roll initially and is removed before the first use. The included dispenser allows smooth, controlled dispensing without the mess or drying time of liquid glue.

Questions about this item

Does the 136 dispenser keep the .5 in. tape feeding smoothly through a full 250 in. roll?

The dispenser is designed so the tape glides off smoothly from start to finish, and the roll is 250 in. long on a 1-in. core.

What surface preparation is needed before applying this double-sided tape?

Both sides carry permanent adhesive; just remove the 8-inch protective wrap and press the tape onto clean, dry surfaces — no liner to peel.

Can the transparent 136 tape be written on with a permanent marker for labelling?

The clear tape accepts permanent marker ink, so you can label directly on the tape once it is applied.
