Two-roll pack for shipping and moving

This pack contains two rolls of Scotch 142L heavy-duty packing tape, each measuring 1.88 in. by 27.7 yd. on a 1.5-in. core. The transparent tape uses an industrial-strength, solvent-free adhesive designed to hold boxes closed through rough handling. It is suited for anyone sealing parcels, moving cartons or seasonal storage boxes.

Dispenser included for quick, clean cuts

Each roll comes with a handheld dispenser that provides precise cuts and features fall-back tabs to stop the tape end sticking back onto the roll. The tape resists slivering, splitting and tearing so a single strip per seam is usually enough. No tools or separate cutter are required to start using it.

Adhesion holds on recycled cardboard under load

The adhesive is formulated to bond instantly even to 100% recycled boxes, which are harder to stick than virgin fibre cartons. Once applied, the seal remains secure during extended transit or long-term storage rather than giving way after a short burst of stress. The solvent-free formulation also avoids the odour and residue associated with some solvent-based tapes.

Questions about this item

How can I tell the tape is sealing properly after I apply it?

The industrial-strength adhesive adheres instantly and resists slivering, splitting or tearing, so a single strip on each seam keeps the box sealed even under rough handling.

What exactly comes in the pack and do I need to buy a dispenser separately?

The pack contains two rolls, each 1.88 in. by 27.7 yd. on a 1.5-in. core, and each roll already includes its own dispenser with fall-back tabs.

Which core size should I choose — 1.5 in. or 3.0 in.?

This listing supplies the 1.5-in. core version; the 3.0-in. core is a separate product that holds more tape for longer runs.
