Moving packing tape for heavy boxes

This Scotch Tough Grip tape secures moving boxes weighing up to 80 pounds. The strong adhesive bonds reliably to all box types, including 100% recycled cardboard. Two rolls and a dispenser are included for immediate use. It is suited for anyone packing dishes, books, toys or similarly heavy household items.

Quiet unwind and dispenser control

The tape unwinds quietly to reduce noise during extended packing sessions. The supplied dispenser delivers precise cuts and features fall-back tabs that prevent the tape from sticking back onto the roll. A 3.0 inch core supports the 54.6 yard length on each roll for continuous work.

1.88 inch width on 3.0 inch core

Each roll measures 1.88 inches wide by 54.6 yards long on a 3.0 inch core. Buyers who need a different width, a longer roll length or a bulk pack without a dispenser should choose another product. The transparent colour suits general sealing where visibility of box labels is required.

Questions about this item

How do I load the tape onto the included dispenser so it feeds correctly?

Place each 1.88 in. x 54.6 yd. roll onto the dispenser with the 3.0 in. core seated on the spindle, pull the tape over the guide roller and through the cutting blade, then press the fall-back tabs down to lock the tape end in place.

When will I need to replace the tape rolls and does the dispenser wear out?

Each roll provides 54.6 yd. of tape; replace a roll when it runs out. The plastic dispenser is reusable and only needs replacement if the cutter dulls or the fall-back tabs break.

What is the heaviest box this tape can reliably seal for a long-distance move?

The adhesive is rated to secure boxes weighing up to 80 pounds, even on 100% recycled cardboard, and resists tearing and splitting during rough handling.
