Gray vinyl electrical tape for wire identification and insulation up to 600V, 7 mil thick, 66 ft roll, CSA and UL listed
Scotch 80611211626 is a professional-grade vinyl tape designed for electricians and maintenance crews who need reliable wire identification and primary insulation up to 600V in indoor or weather-protected settings. The 3/4 inch by 66 foot roll suits medium to heavy-duty colour coding, motor lead marking, piping organisation and safety zone marking.
The tape meets IEC 60454-3-1-7/F-PVCP/90 and carries a VDE Mark Certificate no. 130462, confirming compliance for low, medium and high voltage joint overwrap applications. Its rubber-resin adhesive and flexible PVC backing deliver consistent adhesion to steel at 20 oz/in while remaining RoHS compliant and flame retardant.
Clean the surface, stretch the tape slightly as you wrap, and press firmly to activate the pressure-sensitive adhesive; the 7 mil thickness conforms to irregular shapes without tearing. Avoid use where sustained temperatures exceed 221 °F (105 °C) or where continuous sunlight exposure is expected, as the gray colour is not rated for UV resistance.

The tape is engineered for long-lasting electrical and mechanical protection; replacement depends on environmental exposure and mechanical stress rather than a fixed schedule.
The tape performs continuously up to 221 °F (105 °C) as certified by UL 510 and IEC 60454-3-1-7/F-PVCP/90 standards.
No — the tape is a passive insulation material that produces no heat and consumes no power during extended use.
