This 1000 ft SolidLink SL601 reel supplies unshielded twisted-pair cable rated for 350 MHz bandwidth and certified 10/100/1000 Mbps transfer. The 24 AWG copper-clad aluminium conductors suit voice, data and video distribution in residential or light-commercial pulls. The easy-pull box pays out cleanly and the running foot-count markings simplify on-site measuring.

Capacity and headroom

Four solid pairs with differing twist rates keep crosstalk low enough for gigabit Ethernet across the full 1000 ft length. The 100 Ohm impedance and 350 MHz rating provide headroom for 1000Base-T, but the CCA construction increases attenuation compared with solid copper, so runs near the 100 m channel limit may need testing. Shielding is absent, so noisy environments can degrade margins.

Build integration

Terminate both ends with standard RJ45 plugs or keystone jacks; no special tooling beyond a typical punch-down or crimp set is required. The blue PVC jacket identifies the run in crowded pathways and the unshielded design keeps the cable flexible for tight bends. Installers who need plenum rating, outdoor UV resistance or pure copper conductors should select a different cable type.
