Mandalorian-Inspired 2TB Portable Drive

The Seagate STKL2000405 is a 2TB portable external hard drive styled after The Mandalorian series. It features customizable RGB LED lighting that can be configured using the Seagate Toolkit software on a PC. The drive is bus-powered over USB 3.2 Gen 1, removing the need for an external power adapter. It targets fans wanting a collectible drive for a themed setup or for carrying a game library on the go.

Check USB Port and Console Compatibility

The drive connects via an included 18-inch USB 3.0 cable using the USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface. Verify your device has a compatible USB-A port or an appropriate adapter for USB-C only systems. It is compatible with Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5, as well as most Windows and macOS systems. Reformatting may be required for macOS use, so check the manufacturer’s OS compatibility page for current details before ordering.

Thermals Noise and Power in Normal Use

As a bus-powered portable hard drive, it draws power directly from the host USB port without a separate power supply. Mechanical hard drives produce audible seek noise and vibration during read and write operations. The compact enclosure measuring 0.57 by 3.15 by 4.82 inches and weighing 0.37 lb relies on passive heat dissipation through its casing. Surface temperature will rise during sustained transfers, which is typical for drives of this class.
