What this game delivers

Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 Launch Edition blends two puzzle legends into one PS5 cartridge rated E10+. Players match four same-coloured Puyos or clear Tetrimino lines to send Garbage to opponents across six battle rulesets.

The single rule that decides fit

Skill Battle is the new mode that adds character skills, HP and MP bars, and equippable Item Cards — if you want pure classic Puyo or Tetris without those layers, this edition leans heavily on the new system.

What the Launch Edition bundle changes

The pack includes three rare Item Cards themed after Sonic the Hedgehog that boost team stats in Skill Battle, giving an immediate strategic edge not found in the standard release.
