Selore&S-Global 8-IN-1 USB Display Adapter

The Selore&S-Global 8-IN-1 adapter connects a Thunderbolt or full-featured USB-C laptop to four external monitors through dual HDMI, DisplayPort and VGA outputs. It also provides 100W Power Delivery charging, two USB 2.0 ports and a USB-C 2.0 port for peripherals. The aluminium housing measures 13.9954 cm by 8.1026 cm by 1.905 cm and weighs 0.1 kg.

Dual HDMI, DP and VGA with 100W PD

Dual HDMI ports deliver 4K at 60 Hz and 30 Hz respectively, while DisplayPort adds a third 4K 60 Hz stream and VGA supplies 1080p. The 100W PD port charges the host laptop when its USB-C port supports Power Delivery. Two USB 2.0 ports and one USB-C 2.0 port handle data at 480 megabits per second for keyboards, mice or drives.

Windows DP 1.4 users needing four screens

Windows systems with DisplayPort 1.4 can extend across all four outputs, while macOS mirrors the additional displays instead of extending them. Buyers whose laptops lack Thunderbolt or full-featured USB-C video support cannot use the video functions. Users requiring USB 3.0 or 10 Gbps data speeds should look at a different adapter.

Questions about this item

Will the USB 2.0 ports need any driver updates to keep working?

The adapter is plug-and-play with no drivers required, so the USB 2.0 ports need no software maintenance.

What limits the total number of external displays I can run at once?

Windows DP 1.4 systems can extend across four screens; macOS mirrors all extra displays, and five screens need a discrete GPU with DP 1.4 output.

How much heat or fan noise does the aluminium body produce during all-day use?

The aluminium casing passively dissipates heat with no fan, so it runs silently even when delivering up to 100 W PD charging.
