Selore UC4308 5-in-1 USB-C Hub

The Selore UC4308 is a 5-in-1 USB-C hub built for laptops, tablets and phones that need extra ports from a single connection. It delivers 4K@60Hz video output, 10Gbps data transfer and up to 100W power delivery input. The adapter suits users who want display, data and charging through one compact grey dongle.

Build quality and daily connectivity

The aluminium-bodied hub measures 5.5 in x 0.9 in x 0.6 in and weighs 50 grams, making it easy to carry in a laptop sleeve. Four USB 3.0 ports and one RJ-45 Ethernet jack handle peripherals and wired networking without extra cables. A full-featured USB-C, Thunderbolt 3/4 or USB4 host port is required for video and 10Gbps speeds.

Practical limits of the interface

Only one external monitor is supported at 4K@60Hz; the hub cannot drive multiple displays. USB 2.0 host ports will not provide video or 10Gbps throughput. Power delivery passes up to 85W to the host, but a compatible PD charger must be supplied separately.

Thunderbolt 3 and USB4 compatibility

The hub works with Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4 and USB4 hosts, yet video and 10Gbps data remain limited to the single HDMI output and four USB 3.0 ports. Buyers needing more than one video output or legacy USB-A video adapters should consider a larger dock.

Questions about this item

What video standard does the HDMI port use and what resolution does it cap at?

The HDMI port supports 4K at 60 Hz when the host supplies a full-featured USB-C, Thunderbolt 3/4 or USB4 signal; the monitor’s own capabilities then determine the final output.

What clearance does the hub need beside the laptop port?

The dongle measures 5.5 in by .9 in by .6 in and weighs 50 g, so it sits flush against the chassis without blocking adjacent ports on most ultrabooks.

How is the hub installed and which step do users miss?

Plug the hub into a full-featured USB-C port that carries video and PD; the step users miss is confirming the port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and 100 W PD before connecting.
