Classic Cassette Player Recorder

The SEMIER cassette player recorder combines AM/FM radio reception with tape playback and recording in a compact black unit. It is designed for listeners who want to revisit existing cassette collections or capture new audio onto blank tapes using the built-in or external microphone. The device suits home use and portable listening alike.

Thermals Noise Power

Mains power via a DC 5V adapter keeps the unit running indoors without battery drain, while two AA cells provide mobile operation for walks or outdoor use. The 3 W loudspeaker delivers clear audio at moderate volumes, and the 3.5 mm headphone jack allows private listening without speaker noise. No active cooling is required during normal use.

Bundled Accessories Software

An external microphone is included to improve recording clarity over the built-in mic, especially for voice or distant sources. A 12.6 inch metal telescopic antenna extends FM reception across 87-108 MHz and AM across 520-1710 kHz, reducing the need to reposition the player for a stable signal. Headphones are also supplied for immediate private listening.

Questions about this item

How do I power the SEMIER cassette player and which step is often missed?

Use the included DC 5 V adapter for indoor listening or insert two AA batteries for portable use; the step often missed is confirming the centre-positive polarity on the DC jack before plugging in.

What part will need replacement first with regular use?

The two AA batteries that power the unit when away from mains will need replacing first; the 3.5 mm headphone jack and 12.6-inch antenna have no scheduled replacement interval.

How long can I run the 3 W speaker continuously on batteries before the voltage drops?

With fresh alkaline AA cells the 3 W speaker typically runs for several hours before voltage sag reduces volume; using the DC 5 V adapter removes that limit for indoor sessions.
