12-Digit Thermal Printing Calculator

The Sharp ELT3301 is a 12-digit thermal printing calculator designed for small offices, storefronts and home office users. It prints on 2.25-inch thermal paper at up to 8.0 lines per second without ink. A fluorescent extra-large LCD shows 12 digits in normal mode and 10 digits in large-print mode.

Capacity and headroom

The calculator handles standard 12-digit arithmetic and prints results 50% larger than normal font sizes for quick readability. Large-print mode is limited to 10 digits, so very long figures revert to the smaller font. The top-loading paper compartment simplifies roll changes, but the unit requires a continuous supply of thermal paper rolls.

Cost-Sell-Margin and Time Functions

Dedicated cost-sell-margin keys calculate profit margins in a single sequence, while the time calculation function processes hours and minutes directly. A full-size keyboard with wider key spacing reduces entry errors during extended use. Dimensions are 8.50 inches wide by 9.65 inches deep by 2.38 inches high.

Questions about this item

Will the ELT3301 replace my older desktop adding machine that used standard ink ribbons?

This model uses thermal printing with 2.25" paper rolls and no ink ribbon, so you only need thermal paper instead of ribbon cartridges.

How can I verify the ELT3301 is printing at its rated 8.0 lines per second after I set it up?

Run a long calculation or continuous print job; the thermal printer should produce output at 8.0 lines per second with quiet operation.

Does the ELT3301 come with a starter roll of 2.25" thermal paper or must I buy it separately?

The specifications list 2.25" thermal paper as required but do not confirm an included starter roll, so plan to purchase paper separately.
