Sharpie 2178491 Black Chisel-Tip Marker

The Sharpie 2178491 is a permanent marker with a black ink supply and a chisel tip. It features a wide barrel design and a capped closure to prevent the tip from drying out. The ink is waterproof and certified non-toxic under ACMI AP standards.

Suited for broad marking tasks; not for fine detail

The chisel tip produces wide, bold strokes ideal for labelling boxes, signage or poster work. Buyers who need fine lines for writing, detailed illustration or precise technical drawing should look at a fine-point or ultra-fine marker instead.

Verify surface compatibility and ventilation

The permanent, waterproof ink is designed to adhere to many porous and non-porous surfaces but may not bond to every material. Because the marker is non-washable, confirm the target surface can accept permanent ink and ensure adequate ventilation during extended use.
