A 20 cm PCIe 16x riser with flexible ribbon cable and Molex power lets you mount a graphics card in tight 1U to 3U chassis at 1x speed
This PCI-E 16X to 16x riser extender card lets builders mount a graphics card away from the motherboard using a 20 cm ribbon cable. A Molex connector supplies extra 12 V power directly to the card. It fits 1U, 2U and 3U chassis where vertical clearance is tight. The board uses a multi-layer PCB design for signal integrity.
The slot accepts PCIe x1, x4, x8 and x16 cards but operates at x1 electrical speed only. Bandwidth-intensive GPUs will be bottlenecked by this limit. The flexible high-speed FFC cable allows routing in compact rack-mount cases. Extra Molex power helps stability when the motherboard slot cannot deliver enough current.
This riser replaces a direct motherboard-to-GPU connection when physical space prevents standard installation. The jump is worth it only if the workload tolerates x1 bandwidth or if the card is used for compute, display output or mining rather than gaming. Builders needing full x16 throughput must choose a different solution.

The 20 cm ribbon cable is designed for 1U, 2U and 3U chassis, so it may be too short for a full-size ATX tower.
The extra Molex 12 V / GND connector supplies auxiliary power; if the card’s fans spin and the system posts, the riser is working.
The riser has a built-in Molex 12 V / GND socket, so you only need a standard Molex lead from your PSU — no separate adapter is required.
