4 in Polyurethane Plate Caster

This rigid plate caster uses a polyurethane tread on a polyolefin core to support loads up to 300 lb. The wheel measures 4 in diameter by 1 1/4 in width and rolls without marking floors. It is sold as a single wheel for carts, work platforms or light industrial equipment.

Check mounting pattern and clearance

Verify that the plate bolt pattern matches the existing holes on your cart or frame before ordering. Confirm the 4 in wheel diameter fits the available vertical space and that the 1 1/4 in tread width suits the axle or fork you are using. Ensure the rigid design with no swivel lock or brake meets the steering and safety needs of your application.

Low rolling resistance and quiet operation

Polyurethane tread on a polyolefin core reduces rolling effort and keeps noise low on smooth concrete or indoor surfaces. The non marking compound prevents scuffs during normal use. No brake or swivel mechanism means fewer moving parts to maintain under the 300 lb load rating.

How does the 4 in wheel diameter affect real-world rolling on rough surfaces?

A 4 in polyurethane wheel on a polyolefin core rolls smoothly over cracks and debris while the non-marking tread protects finished floors.
