Shepherd Caster Swivel Plate Caster 6 in 300 lb

Swivel Plate Caster 6 in 300 lb

This swivel plate caster fits wheelbarrows and carts needing a single 6 inch polyurethane wheel. It supports a 300 lb load rating and rolls on a non-marking tread. The polyolefin core adds durability while the standard tread shape keeps movement steady. No brake or swivel lock is included.

Build integration and clearance

The plate mount bolts directly to the frame of a cart or barrow without extra brackets. A swivel race lets the wheel turn freely so the unit manoeuvres in tight aisles. Because there is no brake the caster does not add height or hardware that could catch on debris. The non-marking tread protects finished floors.

Capacity and headroom

At 300 lb the caster handles typical garden loads such as soil bags or tools with a comfortable margin. Polyurethane resists flat-spotting better than rubber when the cart sits loaded for weeks. The wheel will reach its limit if the total weight exceeds the rated figure or if shock loads from rough terrain are frequent. California Proposition 65 warnings apply.
