The Shmci D50 is a compact digital voice recorder with 32GB of flash memory and dual microphones. It captures audio in WAV format at up to 9216kbps PCM quality and offers 36 hours of continuous recording time. The device weighs 97g and measures 100*38*12mm, featuring a built-in 20mm round dynamic speaker for playback. It is designed for professionals needing portable, high-fidelity dictation and field recording.

USB Type-C Interface and Recording Limits

The recorder connects via a USB Type-C connector for data transfer and charging from a 5V 1A external power supply. The built-in 3.7V/600mAh polymer battery also provides up to 36 hours of operation. Recording gain is adjustable across 27 levels to control sensitivity and distance, while eight quality presets let you manage file size versus fidelity. Voice-activated and timed recording modes automate capture without manual intervention.

Setup Checks Before Ordering

Verify that your computer has an available USB Type-C port or a suitable adapter for file transfer and charging. Ensure you can accommodate WAV files generated at the highest 9216kbps setting, which consume significant storage space on the 32GB internal memory. Confirm that the recorder's mono USB interface meets your workflow needs, as no wireless or alternative connectivity options are included. The package supplies the recorder and one data cable only.
