Open-Ear Bone Conduction Headphones

The SHOKZ OpenRun headphones use bone conduction technology to transmit sound through the cheekbones, leaving the ear canals completely open. This on-ear wireless design is intended for athletes and active users who want audio without losing awareness of their surroundings. A headband is included for a secure fit during movement.

Check Bluetooth Compatibility and Charging Port

Verify that your phone, watch or computer supports standard Bluetooth audio streaming for a stable connection. The headphones carry an IP67 rating, meaning they are sweatproof and waterproof for workouts but are not suitable for swimming. A moisture detection alert protects the charging port; ensure the contacts are dry before plugging in.

Ideal for Outdoor Training and Situational Awareness

Runners, cyclists and gym-goers who need to hear traffic, coaches or announcements will benefit from the open-ear design and eight-hour battery life. A 10-minute quick charge adds up to 1.5 hours of playback for short sessions. Buyers who want noise isolation, maximum bass impact or a device for underwater use should look at alternative designs.
