Open-Ear Bone Conduction Headphones

Shokz OpenRun uses bone conduction to send sound through the cheekbones, leaving the ears completely open. This design lets runners, cyclists and outdoor athletes hear music while staying aware of traffic, pedestrians and surroundings. The blue finish and lightweight frame are built for all-day comfort during endurance training.

IP67 Waterproof with Bluetooth 5.1

An IP67 rating protects the headphones from sweat and heavy rain during intense workouts, though they are not made for swimming. Bluetooth 5.1 provides a stable wireless link up to 33 ft from the source device. Dual noise-cancelling microphones filter background noise for clear voice calls in windy or busy environments.

8-Hour Battery Life

The integrated battery delivers up to 8 hours of continuous playback on a single charge, covering long runs, rides or back-to-back sessions. PremiumPitch 2.0 technology shapes the audio for crisp highs, rich bass and a full frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz at 105 ±3 dB sensitivity.

Questions about this item

How do I put on the OpenRun bone-conduction headphones so the transducers sit correctly on my cheekbones?

Place the headband behind your neck and rest the transducers just in front of each ear on the cheekbones; the wraparound titanium frame holds them in position without clamping the ears.

What part of the OpenRun will wear out first and need replacement?

The internal rechargeable battery that delivers up to 8 hours of playtime will degrade over repeated charge cycles and is not user-replaceable.

At what distance from my phone does the Bluetooth 5.1 link start to drop during a long run?

The rated range is 33 ft; walls, body mass or heavy RF congestion can reduce the practical distance before the connection becomes unstable.
