Built for high-volume desk work

The ShorePhone IP 560 is a six-line IP telephone aimed at telephony-intensive professionals and executive assistants who manage multiple simultaneous calls. It expands on the IP 230 feature set with colour-lit line buttons for quick visual status. The 24 character by 7 line display at 168 x 80 pixels shows caller details and menu options clearly.

Six lines and integrated switching

Six line appearances give comfortable headroom for handling several active conversations, transfers and conference calls at once. The integrated 10/100 ethernet switch lets a PC share the single network drop without extra cabling. Full-duplex speakerphone, mute and headset controls each have dedicated LED indicators for at-a-glance status.

Power and codec limits

The handset draws 3.4 W idle and 6.4 W maximum via class 2 PoE under the 802.3 af standard, with optional local power as a fallback. Voice traffic uses G.711u/a and G.729a codecs over MGCP with VLAN, DiffServ/ToS and UDP port 5004 QoS tagging. Buyers needing gigabit uplink speeds or SIP signalling will find the 10/100 interface and MGCP-only protocol a constraint.
