ShurTech Brands 280222 Frogtape Delicate Masking Tape 1.88" x 60 YD

Delicate-surface masking tape

ShurTech Brands 280222 Frogtape is a low-adhesion masking tape designed for delicate surfaces such as freshly painted walls, trim, wallpaper, faux finishes and primed wallboard. It uses PaintBlock technology that activates on contact with paint to form a micro barrier along the edges. The tape is intended for professional and DIY painters who need clean lines without damaging sensitive substrates.

1.88-inch width by 60-yard length

The roll measures 1.88 inches wide and provides 60 yards of tape, giving ample coverage for typical interior trim and accent work. Low adhesion allows clean removal for up to 60 days without leaving residue or lifting the underlying finish. On heavily textured surfaces or where aggressive bonding is required, the reduced tack may not hold securely.

PaintBlock edge-sealing technology

The defining specification is the PaintBlock treatment that creates a paint-activated micro barrier to seal tape edges and prevent bleed. This feature decides whether the tape suits a given job: it excels on smooth, delicate surfaces painted within the last 24 hours, but it is not designed for high-adhesion masking on rough or unprepared substrates.
