The Sick GSE6-P4111 is a compact rectangular through-beam photoelectric sensor designed for industrial detection tasks. Its housing measures 12 mm by 31.5 mm by 21 mm and weighs 40 grams. The sensor operates on 10 to 30 V DC supply voltage with a PNP switching output suitable for automation systems.

Sensing Range and Output Constraints

The device offers a maximum sensing range of 0 to 15 metres and a defined sensing range of 0 to 10 metres using a visible red PinPoint LED at 650 nm wavelength. Switching frequency reaches 1,000 Hz with a response time under 500 microseconds. The M8 4-pin male connector carries a maximum output current of 100 mA.
