Industrial Photoelectric Sensor

The SICK VTE18-4N4912 is a cylindrical photoelectric proximity sensor designed for industrial automation. It detects objects using an infrared LED with a 2.8° dispersion angle. The sensor operates on a 10 V DC to 30 V DC supply and provides an NPN switching output with selectable light or dark switching via a control cable. Its IP67-rated plastic housing suits harsh environments.

Replaces Limited-Range Switches

This sensor upgrades from basic mechanical limit switches or shorter-range optical sensors when non-contact detection up to 350 mm is required. The potentiometer allows precise adjustment of the sensing point between 5 mm and 350 mm.
