The SICK VTF18-4P1312 is a cylindrical photoelectric proximity sensor with an angled light emission. It operates on a 10 V DC to 30 V DC supply and provides a PNP switching output. The sensor is intended for industrial automation tasks where reliable object detection is required. Its metal brass nickel-plated housing and IP67 enclosure rating suit harsh environments.

Sensing range and electrical limits

The sensor detects objects from 3 mm up to a maximum of 100 mm using infrared LED light. A potentiometer allows adjustment of the sensing range up to 90 mm.
