The Sick WTB12-3P2411 is a rectangular photoelectric proximity sensor with background suppression designed for automated detection tasks. It operates on a 10 V DC to 30 V DC supply and delivers a complementary PNP switching output suitable for PLC integration. The housing measures 15.6 mm by 48.5 mm by 42 mm and weighs 120 g. An infrared LED at 850 nm provides a sensing range from 20 mm to 600 mm.

Integrates Into 10–30 V DC Control Systems

The sensor fits into machines and conveyors requiring IP66, IP67 and IP69K protection against water and dust ingress. Its metal housing and PMMA optics withstand ambient temperatures from –40 °C to +60 °C during operation. A switching frequency of 1,500 Hz and a 330 µs response time support fast production cycles. The complementary light/dark switching output frees up logic by providing both states from a single device. Not suited for applications needing AC supply voltages or larger sensing distances beyond 600 mm.
