SICK WTB27-3P3741 photoelectric sensor

The SICK WTB27-3P3741 is a photoelectric proximity sensor with background suppression for industrial detection tasks. It operates on 10 V DC to 30 V DC supply voltage and provides a PNP complementary switching output. The rectangular plastic housing measures 24.6 mm by 80.6 mm by 54 mm and weighs 120 g. It is rated IP66 and IP67 for harsh environments.

Potentiometer adjustment and Q7 cable connection

Sensitivity is set via a potentiometer on the housing for precise range definition. The sensor connects through a 150 mm PVC cable terminated with a 7-pin Q7 connector using DC coding. Circuit protection includes safeguards labelled A, B and C, plus protection class II insulation. Visible red LED light at 660 nm wavelength produces a 15 mm light spot at 500 mm distance.

100 mm to 1100 mm sensing range
