Protects single-phase 120/240V AC circuits with a 20 A, two-pole bolt-on design rated for 22 kA interrupting capacity
The Siemens B220H is a bolt-on miniature circuit breaker from the BL series, rated at 20 amps and 120/240 volts AC with two poles. It is built for Siemens P1 panelboards and load centers, delivering a 22 kA interrupting rating at the rated voltage. The toggle actuator provides manual switching and clear trip indication.
The breaker mounts only on Siemens P1 series panelboards using a bolt-on connection and accepts copper wire down to 14 AWG or aluminium down to 12 AWG. Its 22 kA AIR rating at 120/240V AC is the key figure that determines whether it meets the available fault current at the installation point.
Electricians and facility managers wiring or maintaining Siemens P1 panels with 20 A two-pole branch circuits will find the correct mount and interrupting rating here. Installations that require a different panelboard series, a higher amperage, a DC rating, or a plug-on mounting style must select another device.

It will carry up to 20 A continuously and trip on sustained overloads or short circuits to protect the downstream wiring.
It caps the maximum prospective fault current the breaker can safely interrupt on a 120/240 V AC system.
It bolts directly onto the bus bars of a compatible Siemens P1 panelboard using the supplied lug terminals.
