Three-pole miniature circuit breaker rated 20 A at 480 V AC with 14 kA interrupting capacity, bolt-on mounting for Siemens P1 panelboards
The SIEMENS BQD320 is a 20 A miniature circuit breaker rated for 480 V AC three-phase systems. It belongs to the BQD series with a 100 A frame size and a 14 kA interrupting rating at 480 V AC. Designed for bolt-on mounting in Siemens P1 panelboards, it suits commercial and industrial branch-circuit protection.
The breaker uses a bolt-on mounting style that secures directly to the panelboard bus, while lug terminals accept standard wire connections. A toggle actuator provides clear on/off indication and manual reset. The unit operates up to 104 °F and measures 4.5 in long, 3 in wide, and 2.7 in deep for P1 chassis compatibility.
This device replaces a standard branch breaker when a 20 A three-pole rating is required in a Siemens P1 load centre. The upgrade is worth it when the circuit demands 480 V AC three-phase supply and a 14 kA AIR rating. It is not for DC circuits, single-phase loads, or panels outside the P1 series.
