SIIG, Inc DisplayPort 1.2 to 2 HDMI MST Hub Video Adapter CE-DP0K11-S1

SKU CH-X5ZD-MCWGH

Connects two HDMI displays to one DisplayPort 1.2 output with MST for independent 4K@30Hz or single 4K@60Hz operation

  • Connect two monitors from one DisplayPort 1.2 output for extended or mirrored views
  • Drive a single 4K display at 60 Hz or dual 4K screens at 30 Hz
  • Deliver 7.1 surround sound up to 192 kHz sampling rate
  • Achieve 21.6 Gbps video bandwidth for high-resolution content
  • TAA compliant with ESD protection for secure deployments

Dual DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI Hub

This MST hub converts a single DisplayPort 1.2 output into two HDMI ports for dual-monitor productivity. It supports extended mode for independent screens, mirror mode for identical content, and video-wall mode for a combined panoramic view. Windows and Microsoft Surface Pro 4, 5th Gen, and 6 users gain true multi-stream transport. MacOS users receive only mirrored output because MST is not supported on that platform.

MST Modes and Audio Support

The hub delivers three distinct display configurations without additional software. Extended mode drives two independent 4K@30Hz monitors or a single 4K@60Hz panel. Video-wall mode stitches both outputs into one large surface for signage or immersive viewing. Audio passes through at 7.1 surround sound up to 192KHz sampling rate across the 21.6Gbps bandwidth.

TAA-Compliant Build and Connectors

A compact enclosure with ESD protection meets TAA compliance for government and institutional procurement. Two standard HDMI outputs accept common cables for immediate deployment. The single DisplayPort 1.2 input connects directly to compatible laptops, docks, or graphics cards. No external power adapter is required, simplifying desk or rack installations.

Questions about this item

Will the DisplayPort 1.2 connector or hub electronics need periodic replacement?

No maintenance is required for the DisplayPort 1.2 connector or hub electronics; the unit is solid-state with no moving parts.

Which limit appears first when running both 4K monitors continuously?

Dual 4K output is capped at 30 Hz per display, so the refresh-rate ceiling is the first limit under sustained use.

Does the adapter generate noticeable heat or fan noise during all-day operation?

The hub is passively cooled with no fan, so it produces no fan noise and only minimal warmth during extended use.
