SFX-L 700W unit with 80 PLUS Platinum efficiency, a 120mm semi-fanless fan, fully modular flat cables and a single 58.4A +12V rail
The Silverstone SX700-LPT is an SFX-L form factor power supply delivering 700W continuous power with a peak rating of 750W. It uses a single +12V rail rated at 58.4A and holds 80 PLUS Platinum certification for 89% to 92% efficiency across 20% to 100% load. A 120mm fan with semi-fanless operation provides cooling.
This unit suits builders assembling compact systems that accept the longer SFX-L depth while demanding 700W continuous power and Platinum efficiency. The fully modular flat cable set eases routing in tight spaces. Builds restricted to standard SFX dimensions or lower wattage requirements should consider other models.
The class-leading single +12V rail delivers 58.4A, determining whether the PSU can sustain high-current components under full load. Active PFC with a power factor above .95 at full load ensures clean power draw from 90 to 264V input. Protection circuits include over-voltage, under-voltage and short-circuit safeguards.

The fan is rated within a 100000 hour MTBF, so under continuous operation it should run for many years before any bearing wear appears.
The 700W continuous rating is the ceiling; once the combined +12V draw reaches 700W the protection circuits will activate before the rail itself overheats.
The semi-fanless design keeps the fan off at low loads, and at full load the Platinum efficiency of 89 to 92 percent limits waste heat, so noise stays low even after hours of sustained output.
