Two-pack 90-degree USB-C to USB-B adapter

The SinLoon SL042000 is a pair of USB 2.0 converters with a Type C male plug and a USB B female port. Each unit supports data rates up to 480 Mbps and is built from scratch-resistant aluminium alloy rated for over 6000 insertion cycles. The right-angle shape keeps cables close to the device, saving space on crowded desks or stage setups.

Musicians and office users with USB-C hosts

This adapter suits anyone connecting a modern laptop, MacBook or iPad to MIDI keyboards, synthesisers, electronic drums, printers or scanners that have a standard USB 2.0 Type B socket. It will not work with Android phones or tablets driving a printer directly, and it cannot fit USB 3.1 Type B, Mini-USB or Micro-USB ports. Buyers needing power delivery or legacy Mini-USB connections should look elsewhere.

Steady throughput for long sessions

Because the link is limited to USB 2.0 speeds, sustained MIDI streams, bulk scanner uploads or multi-page print jobs run at a consistent 480 Mbps without the thermal throttling that can affect higher-speed hubs. The aluminium shell dissipates the modest heat generated during continuous use, and the plug-and-play design means no driver installation on the host computer beyond what the peripheral itself requires.

Questions about this item

What must my laptop have to use the SinLoon SL042000 adapter?

Your laptop needs a USB-C port that supports USB 2.0 data transfer; the adapter does not supply power, so the connected device must draw power from its own source.

Will the 90-degree Type C to USB B connector work with my older USB 2.0 Type B printer?

Yes, it is a USB 2.0 C-to-B adapter rated for 480 Mbps and fits a standard USB 2.0 Type B female port; it will not fit USB 3.1 Type B or Mini-USB ports.

How can I verify the adapter is transferring data at the rated speed after setup?

Connect a MIDI keyboard or printer, then check the host computer’s USB controller details — it should enumerate as a high-speed USB 2.0 device operating at 480 Mbps.
