One monitor for four computers

The SMA 4-Port HDMI 2.0 KVM Switch lets a single HDMI display, wired USB keyboard and wired USB mouse control four host devices. It is built for offices, classrooms or home setups where multiple PCs, laptops or consoles share one workstation. Mechanical keyboards and mice are not supported, and hotkey switching is unavailable. Users switch sources using the front-panel button or the included desktop controller.

Stable 4K 60 Hz signal path

The switch maintains HDMI 2.0 bandwidth up to 4K@60Hz, 1080p and 720p without added latency. HDCP 2.2 compliance keeps protected content flowing during extended sessions. The aluminium chassis resists heat buildup so signal integrity holds during long workdays or gaming periods. No external power adapter is required, drawing what it needs from the connected hosts.

Fanless aluminium runs silent

The passively cooled metal body produces zero audible noise and adds no measurable heat to the desk. Power consumption stays negligible because the unit is bus-powered through the HDMI and USB links. The compact enclosure fits tight spaces without blocking airflow around other gear. Wired 104-key keyboards and standard two- or three-button mice give the most reliable behaviour.

Questions about this item

Does the SMA 4-port HDMI 2.0 KVM switch generate heat or need power when running all day?

The unit is described as heat-resistant with a slim aluminium shell and requires no external power supply, so it runs passively without adding noticeable heat or noise.

What keyboard and mouse must I already own for this KVM switch to work?

A standard 104-key wired USB keyboard and a standard 2- or 3-button wired USB mouse are required; mechanical keyboards and mice are not supported.

Will this KVM switch work with my older 1080p monitor and 720p devices alongside 4K sources?

Yes, it supports resolutions down to 720p and 1080p as well as 4K at 60 Hz, so older displays and sources can share the same switch.
