Portable USB 3.0 to VGA adapter for Windows PCs

This compact adapter adds a VGA output to laptops or desktops that only have USB 3.0 or 2.0 ports. It supports mirroring or extending the desktop to a monitor, projector or HDTV. The 24.5 cm black cable uses an ABS and PVC housing. Driver installation from the included CD-ROM is required before use.

Upgrades systems lacking a native VGA

The adapter replaces the need for an internal graphics card upgrade when only one extra display is needed. Full 1920x1080 resolution is available only on genuine USB 3.0 ports; on USB 2.0 the output drops to 800x600. It is not a bi-directional converter and cannot drive a USB display from a VGA source.

Supported operating systems are Windows XP 32-bit, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 in both 32-bit and 64-bit editions, plus Windows Server 2008. Mac and Linux are not supported. Surface Pro devices with ARM processors will not work; only Intel-based Surface Pro models running Windows are compatible.
