On-camera monitoring for video production

The SmallHD 701 Lite provides a 7-inch HDMI screen for camera operators who need a larger, brighter view than a built-in finder. It suits solo shooters, gimbal operators and small crews working in controlled or outdoor lighting.

HDMI input limits cable length and signal type

The single HDMI connection restricts cable runs to typical HDMI distances without active extenders and accepts only the resolutions and frame rates the source device outputs over that interface.
