Smart WiFi Thermometer for Cold Storage

This smart digital thermometer connects to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and streams temperature data to a companion app. It is designed for users who need continuous monitoring of refrigerators, freezers, hot tubs or similar environments. The device alerts you remotely when readings drift outside your chosen range.

2.4GHz Only with Distance Limits

The unit only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and will not join a 5GHz network. Reliable connection requires the sensor to sit within 50ft of the router in open air; metal doors and multiple walls reduce that range. If the link drops, the app cannot deliver real-time alerts until the signal returns.

USB Power with Magnetic and Suction Mounting

A USB cable supplies constant power so there are no batteries to replace. The main unit mounts by magnet while the probe attaches with a suction cup, allowing flexible placement on metal or smooth surfaces. The backlit LCD activates with a button press for quick checks in dark locations.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi version or is there another option?

The thermometer only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks; 5 GHz is not supported, so there is no alternative wireless version to choose.

What does the ±0.9 °F accuracy mean when the probe is inside my freezer?

The high-precision probe reads within ±0.9 °F of the actual temperature across the full -40 °F to 158 °F range, updating every 2 seconds.

How far can the sensor sit from my 2.4 GHz router before alerts stop working?

In open areas the sensor stays connected up to 50 ft from the router; metal doors and multiple walls will reduce that practical range.
