Taylor Infrared Thermometer 11110

The Taylor 11110 is a non-contact infrared thermometer designed for quick forehead readings on babies, children and adults. Its rotating sensor allows measurement from multiple angles without touching the skin. The device also measures object surface temperatures for added versatility.

Simple one-button operation with distance guidance

Press the trigger and the thermometer delivers a reading in about one second. A built-in distance sensor helps you hold the unit at the correct range for accuracy. The backlit LCD uses three colours to indicate normal, elevated or high temperatures. Remember to select person or object mode before measuring and keep the lens clean for reliable results.

Limited to infrared surface measurement

The thermometer reads emitted infrared energy from the forehead or an object surface, so it cannot measure internal or ambient air temperature. Accuracy depends on proper distance, mode selection and a clean sensor window. It stores up to 30 readings for trend tracking and switches between Celsius and Fahrenheit. Users needing continuous monitoring or clinical-grade precision should consider a different instrument.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the rotating sensor is aligned correctly after turning the thermometer on?

Aim the sensor at the forehead; the distance detection will signal when you are at the proper range, then a 1-second reading appears on the LCD with one of three colors indicating normal, elevated or high temperature.

What comes in the box with model 11110 and what must I supply myself?

The thermometer itself is included; you will need to provide alkaline batteries for the power source before first use.

Should I choose the person mode or the object mode for checking a baby's bath water?

Use the object mode to measure surface temperatures such as bath water, and switch to person mode for forehead readings on babies, children or adults.
