Genuine Replacement Lamp Module

The SMARTBOARD SLR60Wi2 projector lamp is a complete 280W bulb-and-housing assembly designed for direct installation in compatible SmartBoard projectors. It arrives fully assembled so technicians or educators can swap the module without handling a bare bulb. This unit suits schools and meeting rooms that need a drop-in replacement to restore image brightness quickly. It is not intended for users who require a bare lamp without the housing or for projectors outside the SLR60Wi2 series.

Thermal and Power Characteristics

The lamp draws 280W during operation and is rated for 3000 hours in normal mode or 4000 hours when the projector runs in economy mode. These figures reflect the manufacturer’s specified lifespan under typical classroom or office use. Actual runtime will vary with ambient temperature, duty cycle and how often the projector enters standby. Buyers who need longer intervals between replacements should note the fixed hour ratings and plan maintenance accordingly.

Quality Assurance and Support

Each module is produced under ISO9001 controls and tested for beam performance, ignition voltage, appearance, connections and run-time before shipping. The package includes a 90-day warranty period and a 30-day return window from the supplier. No additional software, mounting hardware or cables are bundled with the lamp. Customers who expect alignment tools or diagnostic utilities will need to source those separately.

Questions about this item

How do I install the SLR60Wi2 lamp module and what step is often missed?

The module arrives fully assembled with the 280W P-VIP bulb in its housing; after powering off and cooling the projector, slide the unit in until it seats firmly, then secure the retaining screw — skipping that screw is the step most people forget.

What maintenance or replacement will this lamp need later?

The 280W P-VIP bulb is rated for 3000 hours in normal mode or 4000 hours in economy mode; once those hours are reached the lamp must be replaced as a complete module.

What limit appears first during sustained use?

The 3000-hour normal-mode rating (or 4000 hours in economy) is the first hard limit; after that the lamp reaches end of life and must be swapped out.
